The Story Behind EverFête
EverFête began before I knew I was building a business.
As a mom of two girls, I lost touch with my creative side when they were little. As they got older, I found my way back to it. I started decorating more and found little ways to make holidays and celebrations feel personal. I remembered how much joy I found in having an idea and figuring out how to make it real.
Eventually, I developed a rhythm. I had artwork I could change, ribbons I could swap out, and pieces I could use in different ways. I could completely change the feeling of a room for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, or a birthday without changing everything in it. The house still felt like our house. It just felt like us celebrating.
For Valentine's Day, I made a garland of hearts. While I was hanging it, I started thinking about what else it could become. Shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day. Bunnies for Easter. Something completely different for the next celebration.
The idea that one beautiful piece could keep changing stayed with me. I started sketching, experimenting, teaching myself new things, and following the idea to see how far I could take it.
That was the beginning of EverFête.

Every Detail Matters
Once I knew what EverFête could be, I knew it had to be good. It had to feel substantial in your hand, beautiful enough to become part of your home, and easy enough to change that you would actually want to use it again and again.
That standard has shaped nearly every decision I've made since.
Each charm begins as my own design. Letterforms are adjusted for proportion and readability from across a room. Every piece is cut from aluminum, individually hand-filed and finished, and each bail is hand-soldered into place. I spent an unreasonable amount of time getting even that tiny piece of hardware right because the charms needed to hang beautifully and hook onto the chain easily. Nothing should require fiddling when you're ready to change your garland.
As I worked through one design problem after another, I kept finding the answers in fine jewelry. The chain gave the collection its foundation. Jewelry bails gave each charm an elegant way to hang. Metal gave the pieces the weight and permanence I wanted. Even the packaging evolved around the idea of receiving, protecting, and adding to a collection.
That influence became the standard for EverFête: pieces designed to be handled, rearranged, collected, and kept.
There are easier ways to make décor. There are faster ways to manufacture it. But I care about the things you notice when you hold something in your hand, the weight of it, the finish, the way it hangs, how easily it works, and how it feels when you open the box.
Many of the details I've obsessed over may never be noticed individually. I hope that's because, together, they simply make EverFête feel right.
EverFête wasn't inspired by ornaments. It was inspired by the timelessness, craftsmanship, and collectibility of fine jewelry.
